Founded in 2021, the Amateur Esports Association is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that strives to serve the youth esports community of the United States - built on values of accessibility, structured competition, and a commitment to developing the next generation of players and leaders.

To provide a safe place for America's youth to participate in structured esports leagues and competitions in order to foster the development of morale, sportsmanship, and citizenship.
Our Vision
To assist in legitimizing and unifying youth club esports in the United States — connecting players and organizations on local, regional and national levels to foster a home for the highest form of competition within youth esports.

A structured, moderated space where youth players can compete and grow without the risk of toxicity or the lack of safety in unmoderated environments.

AEA competitions go beyond organizational boundaries, building the youth esports community at local, regional and national scales.

Esports industry internships, a robust collegiate network, and more than $14,000 in collegiate scholarships awarded to date.
Accessibility
Financial barriers should not stand in the way of America’s youth from participating in youth esports. The AEA provides funding directly to underserved communities to cover equipment and competition expenses.
